This branding project was for a new barber shop opening up on the West Side of NYC. This was to be an upscale barbershop–where the owner, Steven, wanted to make sure his signature style of only using scissors and no buzzers came across in the logo. We developed a custom typeface for the logo that from afar looked like it had clean lines, but when up close you will realize it was actually hand drawn. The subtle uses of gold over black and white showcased its upscale nature, but its approachable nature. Like its owner and namesake.
